Aggis is Director – Finance, Reporting & Compliance with EPGE. He was involved in the finance side of the Development, Financing, Operations and Equity Restructurings of EPGE’s renewable energy projects including the 80 MW Chirnogeni project, Romania and the 117 MW Tafila project, Jordan. Both projects were financed by non-recourse project financing from a number of Development Finance Institutions, including the EBRD, the IFC and the EIB, and a number of commercial banks. Both projects received equity investment from infrastructure funds and/or sovereign wealth funds.
Aggis has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, M&A transactions, financial reporting and financial management as Consultant, Financial Manager and Director of companies in Eastern Europe, the Arabian Gulf, the Middle East, Africa, Greece and Cyprus.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London, UK and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 1995. Aggis holds an BA (Hons) Degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, UK.
